Order Process
New Jersey’s premiere stone fabrication and installation facility
Step 1
Estimate
Please include a detailed drawing indicated finished edges, appliances and any other details you wish to include. If you wish to tag a stone from our warehouse a deposit would be required to secure the material. All estimates are valid 60 days.
Step 2
Deposit
Benchmark Surfaces custom order and we want our clients to be satisfied with their purchase from start to finish. If you have not provided Benchmark Surfaces with a deposit we will ask you at the time of template. A 70% deposit is required to initiate fabrication.
Step 3
Template
All cabinets must be installed and leveled. If, you have an existing countertop it must be removed prior to our arrival. All appliances must be on site. If you are supplying your own sink please have it on site. Farm sinks must be installed prior to templating.Faucets and other accessories must be present.
Step 4
Fabrication
Once all field measurements are taken and details confirmed your order will go into fabrication. At this time the templates will be digitized or a .DXF file will be sent from our LT-55 to one of our four CNC machines. The stone will be cut to your specifications and we will polish the edges and create any cutouts required.
Step 5
Installation
Please have the driveway, sidewalk and entrance to the job-site clear as we will be carrying large pieces of stone. In the event of snow, the driveway and entrance to the job site must be clear for us to safely transport the material.
Step 6
Completion
Typically we get to installation 5-7 business days after all details of the order are finalized.Installation process itself takes between 1 and 3 hours. All faucet drillings are completed at the time of installation. Once the installation is complete and you accept the product the balance is due.
